Overview

TrekPoint is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how TrekPoint accesses and handles your data. TrekPoint does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything stays on your device.

Data Access

TrekPoint requests access to the following on your device:

• Location: used to display your position on the map and record GPS-tracked paths. Location data is stored locally and never transmitted.

• Photos and videos: used when you choose to attach media to a marker. Attachments are stored locally in the app's private storage and never transmitted.

TrekPoint does not:

• Transmit any data to external servers

• Use analytics or tracking

• Require an account or login

• Share any information with third parties

Data Storage

All markers, paths, and attachments are stored entirely on your device using on-device storage. No data is uploaded to the cloud or any external service. Deleting the app removes all associated data.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will post the updated version here.
